BCE (Bell Canada Enterprises) cautious about 2001 growth prospects

TORONTO and VANCOUVER -- Despite reporting strong first-quarter results, BCE Inc. has sounded a note of caution about its growth prospects for the balance of 2001, although it has not slashed forecasts as so many other companies have done.
