1. BETA)  The state we we exit in, in our daily awake time, when
not engaged in tasks or conversation.  This is the brain wave that
locks us into physicalreality.  It is also the brain where our egos
are the most active in keeping us focused in this reality.

2..ALPHA) The state we enter when we daydream, light
meditating, driving, or or doing any type of automatic behavior
where your mentality is not engaged.  Most of us spend a good
portion of our day in alpha when not concentrating on a task.

3. DELTA)  This state is the one we enter when we are deeply
asleep.  It is the state where many of our dream interactions are
not necessarily remembered when we wake up.

4. THETA)  The theta state is the most elusive for humans.
Yet at the same time, it is a pivital point for the expansion of our
consciousness.

Theta occurs either in very deep meditation or in the state between
waking & sleeping.

It occcurs when we are falling asleep & experience what is called
hyponogogic visions---spontaneous internal stimuli which seem like
lucid dreams, just before we fall into true sleep, & usually lasts for
only a short period of time.  Theta then gives way into delta, then
we are asleep.

The theta state is where we are most likely to experience contact.

Theta & delta are separated enough from the conscious mind that
we may or may not remember the encounters we have, when our
brain has switched to this frequency.

We can train ourselves at will,  to enter theta.
