We the people forced a showdown with Commissioner Charles Rossotti.
This is what they found out for all the world to hear and see.
1. Joe Bannister, former IRS special agent when asked if he still files a tax return, responded that he filed one and paid an amount of tax since he wanted to follow the law.
2. "I asked Bob Schultz, We the people chairman, if he himself filed an income tax return. He would not comment, saying he was not, by example, trying to tell individuals what to do....."
3. I know for a fact that Davey Kidd files an income tax return each years since she's stated so over the Internet about the problems that she has with the returns that she filed.
THESE ARE THE LEADERS OF OUR "WE THE PEOPLE" and They call themselves TAX REBELS OR TAX PROTESTERS.
If Jerome Daly, Arthur Porth, Jim Scott, Larry Rigby, & Lowell Anderson, heard them, they would turn over in their graves.
These are people that will not TAKE A STAND, yet they want to be our leaders.
They have spent $500,000.00 several times to advertise in USA Today, but when it comes to back it up, they capitulate.
I hereby call them cowards, phonies, and state that they cannot be trusted.
THEY ARE NOT ON OUR SIDE.

Face it Bill Drexler, WTP activists are getting lots more attention than you did when you beat the IRS in a WILLFUL FAILURE TO FILE trial in 1967.
Ten years later, America was roiling and boiling with tax protestor meetings. I read Martin Larsen's TAX REVOLT USA and listened to you, Marv Cooley, Jerome Daly and others in 1974.

Millions quit filing and several hundred like you and me were entertained (or is that interned?) in U.S. gulags for telling the same truth so widely disseminated by WTP today. We never managed to fund ads in USA Today, so let's not badmouth the filers (if indeed they are) for following the likes of Paul Revere.
By 1990, most patriots who could were operating out of the system. Those unable to operate outside the system went back to filing and paid HUGE penalties. (See cannon fodder below)
I used to say at the beginning of each meeting, "If any of you newbies stop filing to save money, you'll be doing it for the wrong reason and you'll be cannon fodder. But that's OK. Every movement needs cannon fodder." That prophecy came true in spades. LIBERTY has never come cheap. If WTP can pull off this bloodless coup, America will owe them big time. (This is the place for that famous quote about everybody being a patriot when the battle is won."

I suspected and felt what you have put in print.
They mislead the people and support the enemy.
What better way to support the system then to offer more cannon fodder.
The 16th is non issue. God's Law is what needs to be held up.
