No more property rights in the police state of Canada?

 July 6, 2001

By Rev. Alex Muljiani

Where did our rights go?

As we continue to be plagued by more and more corruption within the government of our beloved country, I ponder the bleak future that lies ahead and wonder how it happened? What forces came into play with such brilliant subtlety and sureness, like a thief in the night, and stole away our two most precious gifts? These were the gifts of personal freedom and personal property rights.

I have my theories on how this monstrous trick was accomplished and with such skill that most Canadians still haven’t got a clue that the deed has actually been done. One technique, of course, was that old standby of time. Given enough time, you can change anything by offering ‘small changes’ to succeeding generations. Each new generation will accept those changes and eventually take it as ‘the way things are.’ The key question though, is who are the individuals who allowed this to happen? Most of these people were quite aware that whatever part they were playing would lead to the eventual creation of a police state in Canada. It would lead to less freedom for the citizens and more for the government. It’s exactly the same situation in the United States today.

A war against the citizens.

The claim that both these countries make is that they are fighting a war on crime, but it’s really a war on their citizens under guise. For example, there is no more freedom to send larger amounts of money to the U.S. anymore because you will automatically be labeled a money launderer.

Then there’s Bill C-24. Another apparent "weapon against crime." This bill was recently pushed through final reading and allows us to proceed one step closer to the future police state of Canada. This new law vastly expands government power and gives police the right to break the law in the process of upholding the law. Didn’t our mothers tell us that two wrongs don’t make a right? The final version of the bill is just as draconian as the original draft and smells rotten right through.

Ontario and British Columbia are joining the federal government in their relentless march to stomp out basic property rights. Ontario, in May 2001, introduced legislation giving the government the right to seize assets of innocent people if they simply believe that those assets were acquired, even indirectly, through some kind of criminal activity. British Columbia passed a law in 1997 that gives police there the right to seize your car on the spot for any reason! It’s been used to steal an individuals car simply because the police officer didn’t like their attitude. No proof required please, we’re Canadian!

The funny thing about Canadians is that we always get plenty of warning that these draconian pieces of legislation are coming down the pike, but we always seem to be asleep until they pass into law. It seems as if only a small minority of Canadians care enough to even bother debating or challenging the new pieces of legislation as they are tabled. However, once these pass, people start getting up in arms over them. I believe this is because Canadians tend to be so nice that they are blinded to the idea that their government could actually contemplate such evil and actually pass it. When Canadians read of impending legislation in the newspaper, they likely go into denial at all its implications.

What’s the real numbers behind the economic war?

One of the excuses for this economic war against us is, of course, the U.S. "war on drugs." The idea is for the U.S. to conscript all countries into their private so-called drug war. The technique the American government uses is to grossly exaggerate the extent of the supposed crime. Ottawa made up crime related numbers of up to $17 billion dollars annually in criminal proceeds flowing through Canada every year. However, they also include insurance fraud, stock market fraud, telemarketing fraud and other such crimes unrelated to drugs and money laundering. The likely true dollar figure of money laundering or drug dealing in Canada by itself is less than $1billion. It may seem like a lot, but insurance fraud by itself is likely closer to $2 billion. The reality was that these so-called money laundering and criminal activities were played up dramatically so that the police state pieces of legislation could be passed without much criticism. After all, aren’t we all patriotic Canadians? It’s interesting that the government used similar actions to pass the Income Tax Act in 1917. Then it was about the Great War and protecting our soldiers and our brethren in Europe. Could you be so unpatriotic as to criticize the government for bringing in such a benevolent tax? And don’t forget, it’s all just temporary. As soon as the Great War is done or as soon as the War on Drugs is done, we’ll give you back your rights and rescind that legislation once more. Trust us.

The war against Canadians.

I received an e-mail from an accountant today that shows perfectly the attitude that CCRA has towards all the taxpayers in Canada. It’s a true story and if you are so inclined, feel free to contact these people to offer support or ideas. I’ve edited the e-mail for brevity and clarity.

I am an accountant who has worked on helping a man who was audited twice in the last 4 years. In a small community in Ontario, CCRA came full force, auditing every small business they could, mostly men in their 40's. I read later that CCRA goes after people who have their homes paid off so they can lien them and, yes, these men have had their paid-off homes liened against. They ALL have humble lives and could not possibly have hid the excess money CCRA claims. In addition, none of them can afford to fight CCRA. In my client’s case, the audit was $30,000. However, after I got involved and proved that the paperwork matched his net worth, CCRA quickly shaved off $20,000, but not the rest. Since we have been fighting this for about 2 years now, CCRA has added another $30,000 in penalties and interest alone and have liened his home.

I spoke to Time magazine about this subject and stressed that while the auditor walks away counting his cash; the poor man left behind contemplates putting a gun to his head. The feds can't get money from the regular criminals, so they go after the decent country folk, who have honest accounts and property they can easily seize. I asked Time magazine, "does anyone really have to wonder why we are leaving Canada and/or telling our children to get the hell out of here quick?"

The case above concerns a man who fixes furnaces. His wife is a waitress. He built his home himself in the 1970's and it is ALL they own. When I first began helping him, it was a job and I got paid. However, after seeing his business records, I refused payment from him so he could afford to hire lawyers. The top tax lawyers in Ottawa are too afraid to defend against the government even though they clearly see the mistakes and bullying in this audit. If any of you know any other way, besides the public media, to do something about this, please contact the client, Carson Bredlaw at phone/fax (613) 735-2214 or myself, Christine Acres at phone/fax (613) 732-3967 and e-mail missacres@yahoo.com

Thanks for your time.

There are solutions if you are ready to learn.

Folks, there are solutions to prevent the kind of situations like the one above. I’ve been teaching part of the solution for almost two and half years now. However, there are other solutions required when it comes to protecting your property rights. As you can see from the above example, and as you probably know from your own personal experience, CCRA has no use for you as a person. They are only interested in your property and your money. That’s the bottom line. If you are in a typical Canadian situation with the mortgage, the car, the kids, the job, the RRSP – let’s be blunt, you’re a sheep to be sheared when your number comes up. You cannot afford to sit back and hope for the best. As our country becomes more and more a police state, you can either wait your turn to be attacked or you can be proactive and do something about it now. If you believe that your children deserve a better future than what you see coming down the road, your obligation is to educate yourself on how to protect your property so that you can educate them to do the same.

My partner Mohamed and I have a full roster of seminars coming up this fall on solutions to personal rights and property rights. If you haven’t participated in these new two-day weekend seminars, you need to make the commitment this fall. The solutions are available to prevent any possible attacks on your property ever again if you’re simply willing to invest two days this year. CCRA is becoming more brutal to Canadians every month and if you receive the lucky roll of the dice to be audited or re-assessed, you’d better hope your assets are not exposed.

Did you know there are ways to not "own" your house anymore without ever selling it? It’s the same thing with cars? Did you know there are many ways to allow your RRSP to make maybe two or three times more money for you without contravening any RRSP guidelines? Would you like to show your children how to avoid ever being subject to the kind of control the government has over all of us today? There’s so much more fun and control you can have with this Evil Game that’s being played against you and your family – if you know the rules! Right now, very few Canadians know the rules of the Evil Game. No wonder we’re losing so badly. Do you think the government is ready to give you those rules? No chance!

Well then, learn these on your own and you can play to win. Yes, I know this is a big push to participate with us in our seminars, but if you don’t participate to actually learn the unique solutions, what’s the use of all this knowledge through the website and through these newsletters? In the end you’ll just be an aware loser of the Evil Game. That’s worse than not knowing you don’t know, you know?

So I’m going to give you our schedule for the fall here. Please go to the website in the coming weeks at http://www.untaxman.com/seminarschedule.html to get more details, but please make sure you participate to actually play the game. Time is running out folks!

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
