July 30th, 2001
Greetings Mayor Bob Chiarelli and Ottawa Councillors:
It is already July 30th, two months since my last email to you re: "A Proposal To Limit Tax Increases While Improving Current Levels Of Municipal Government Services" www.cyberclass.net/chiarelli.htm. The only response from the last email is attached below.
While we have been patiently waiting for action The NoUsury Network has set up an online barter and trading exchange whereby we are using a "usury-free" time currency. Details at this URL: www.cyberclass.net/letsbuild.htm The City of Ottawa is invited to explore what we have already created. Perhaps we can meet at some future time and discuss how we can make this wonderful "usury-free" trading system available for every citizen living in the City of Ottawa.
I am leaving to be a guest speaker at a conference at Salmon Arm, British Columbia
where I will be talking about alternative "usury free" currencies. Details at
this URL: www.preferrednetwork.com
For those who may be interested a portion of my conference presentation is posted at this
URL: www.cyberclass.net/sdianalysis.htm
I will return to Ottawa in mid-August.
Perhaps one or two Councillors would like to arrange a visit to Ithaca, New York in the
early fall of 2001, to explore how that city is effectively using a "usury-free"
time currency. I am willing to accompany anyone who would like to learn more about
"usury-free" time-based, community currencies and how they can be used to
re-build community.
Enjoy this day !
Working with you for "peace and plenty" by 2020
I AM
Tom-Joseph: Kennedy otherwise known as "Tommy-No: Usury"
