Grass roots organization are the voice of the people.  They speak the truth when no one else will.  This is how it works in the beginning.  Once the organization grows they become a threat to governments and industry. There comes a time when these groups have to decide to continue to strive for truth and justice or submit to outside control.  The control is usually someone or group that funds or makes available some in roads to departments who have the authority to make policy or initiate policy change.   Then these grass roots group puts themselves in a position to compromise their objective by toning down the truth in order to maintain their reputation and position.   This causes divisions between real grass roots individuals who are willing to sacrifice all for the truth regardless of their outward appearance.  It is better to go out flaming than to betray their honor.  By the way this is how they are destroyed, it is a common plan used by those in authority (governments & industry) to infiltrate, divide and control or destroy.

When we become concerned with our outward appearance, maintaining power and position over the truth we are no longer useful to the people we protect and serve, we become just another compromised group.  Needless to say in-order for this group to survive they must acquire industry and government funding  as the public no longer wishes to supports them.  Hence their agenda is directed now by those who control the money and they become ineffective in making changes that benefit the masses.
