Subject:  a PhD in community currencies

Readers might be interested to receive advanced knowledge that the Department of Geography at University of Leicester, England is intending to offer PhD Studentships.

One of the subjects that the Department wishes to support is community currencies (e.g., LETS, time currencies).

If you are interested in applying to do a PhD in community currencies, you will need to hold the equivalent of an undergraduate
degree (or to be about to receive one by the summer of this year) and to have an interest in the subject.

If anybody is interested, would they please contact me as soon as possible. This is because there are also other sources of funding available. For UK applicants, these have a deadline of 1 May and the Higher Degrees Office at the University of Leicester will help non-UK applicants to seek sources of funding to help them.

I would be pleased to answer any questions that you may have.

Yours sincerely,
