Raindrops ...

Nature near Vancouver.

Recently, east of Vancouver and west of Hope, we had a demonstration of a way of nature: part of a mountain side slid down across the highway.  It took days to clear the road.  What looked to be  "rock solid" and immovable came down under its own weight ... with a little help.

RAINDROPS

Although looking to be solid and impervious, significant parts of the mountain are always porous; parts of the mountain contain cracks and crevices.  Weak spots.

It rained and rained -- raindrop after raindrop after raindrop after raindrop, every drop seeping into crevices, openings, pores, going everywhere.  More and more raindrops: setting the stage;  drip-drip-drip.

We don't know which raindrop did it.

We don't know when it did it. 

We don't know how it did it. 

But, at some point, after all the other raindrops had set the stage, all it took was just one more raindrop ...
and down it came.

In a way, we are like raindrops: even the smallest raindrop contributes.

So, don't despair:

With integrity and wisdom, be like so many raindrops; spread truth, and light, reject lies, and obfuscation
and  ...  rain on their parade.
