The "Truth" About The SDI (Self Directed
Income) Industry
By Tommy-No: Usury
"When
a man who is honestly mistaken hears the TRUTH he |
At The Cyberclass Network, I created an SDI (Self Directed Income)
Cyberclassroom <www.cyberclass.net/sditable.htm>
to "re-educate" people about the "truth" about the SDI Industry which
is continually evolving to become the perfect marketing model that was intended by its
original creators.
I have collected and/or written a number of articles and posted them as lessons at The SDI Cyberclassroom BUT it
appears that numerous critics of the SDI industry have never bothered to engage in some
essential, self-imposed learning at The SDI Cyberclassroom, otherwise they would not speak
and type so much mis-information and dis-information. One of the most informative articles
about the SDI industry "The SDI Industry Likely To
Offer Optimal "NoUsury" Opportunities"
is posted at this URL: <www.cyberclass.net/sdihallmarks.htm>
I have revised another article entitled: "LETS and The SDI (Self Directed
Income) Industry" and posted it at this URL: <www.cyberclass.net/letsdi.htm>
This follow-up article The "Truth" About The SDI (Self Directed Income) Industry is prompted by ongoing affronts from (1) family members, (2) associates from the "Untax/Detax/Refusetax/Anti-tax" Movement (3) the Ottawa LETS Council, and most recently from (4) Shannon Hewitson, Regulatory Affairs Officer, Excel Canada - all of whom continue to exhibit their individual and collective ignorance about the SDI industry - the marketing industry which fosters high integrity, ultimate honesty and creates the possibility of "usury-free" living. The ill-informed critics of the SDI industry have no understanding that this industry is destined to become the marketing trend of the future. In fact, it is currently the fastest growing marketing industry of the 21st Century, and the one industry that has the greatest potential to play a significant role in eliminating the curse of 'usury.' Instead, these critics seek to disempower themselves and those of us who understand the role that the SDI industry will play in ushering in "peace and plenty by 2020."
It is noteworthy indeed that both LETS and SDI have gained credibility all over the world from all creeds and races and yet here in Canada where we have unnecessary "hate laws" events are occurring that demonstrate that LETS and SDI cannot coexist because some members of LETS seek to discriminate against SDI entrepreneurs. Chad Taylor has an interesting commentary from the Christian point of view <www.cyberclass.net/chadtaylor.htm> I am seeking commentary about LETS and SDI from other creeds and races.
Here are samples of comments typed and/or spoken to myself in 2001 that demonstrate how misunderstood the SDI industry really is:
1. From a family member whom I had asked to transfer their long distance service to Excel to support The Mijosa Marketing Group - which is the SDI umbrella marketing group for my two sons and my daughter.
"We are not interested. We would, however, encourage and be willing to guide Michel, Sarah and Jonathan in any legitimate business venture having a reasonable probability for success. While Excel may be a legitimate business we have elected to not participate in pyramid selling ventures of any sort."
2. From an associate within the "Untax/Detax/Refusetax/Anti-tax" Movement whom I has asked to transfer their long distance service to Excel to support The NoUsury Revolution.
"I prefer Bell Canada because they have been around for much longer.
I do not want to have two bills coming for telephone services and I have heard that Excel
is one of those pyramid companies."
3. From the Ottawa LETS Council in a letter dated July 8th, 2001 and
addressed to myself.
snip...."We are aware that many conversations have occurred between yourself and
previous Councils of the Ottawa LETSystem regarding the place of multi-level marketing
(MLM) within LETS. The bottom line has remained, however, that recruiting into MLM's,
SDI's or related businesses is not permitted."
"While members of the Council are comfortable with the use of the
Ecodollar currency in the exchange of MLM products - even if only as profit margin for the
individual marketer - we reject the use of the Ecodollar as an inducement for LETS members
to become participants in such marketing strategies. Such does not constitute an equal
exchange, but rather an "Eco-bribe." It tarnishes the respectability of our
community, and devalues the Eco as a means of exchange. We therefore ask that you
immediately cease using the Ottawa LETS Ecodollar as inducement for members to become
Excel 'representatives.'
We remain uncomfortable with your use of the Ecodollar as inducement for members to change
phone companies. At this time, however, we are willing to consider such a trade as a
federal dollar to ecodollar exchange for your profit margin in their useage of the Excel
telephone product."....snip
4. Read the details of the exchange with Shannon Hewitson at this URL: www.cyberclass.net/shannonltr.htm
In all the first three of the above communications, Excel is falsely
paint-brushed as being a part of a tarnished and unworthy marketing concept. In the fourth
communication, a Regulatory Affairs Officer seeks to disempower Independent Excel
Representatives because she too is afraid of the word "pyramid."
Each of the writers of the above-stated comments are either mis-informed or dis-informed
about the SDI industry, otherwise they would not using the word "pyramid" with a
negative twist, nor would they be afraid of the word "pyramid," nor would any
informed person consider a fair exchange an "Eco-bribe", thereby tarnishing the
respectability of the Ottawa LETS community. Instead, they would honour and applaud the
"truth" - that indeed the SDI industry's "pyramid-shaped" marketing
structure flattens heirarchies and therefore is far superior to the pyramid-shaped
structures of orthodox businesses and institutions. SDI entreprenerus learn to speak truth
to each other.
The Webster Dictionary defines a "bribe" as a 'gift or favour bestowed with a
view to pervert the judgement or corrupt the conduct.' There is absolutely no intent to
"pervert the judgement nor to corrupt the conduct" when I offer
"usury-free" community currency in appreciation for either (a) securing a long
distance account for Excel from Bell Canada, one of the "usury" elite players or
(b) recruiting an SDI entrepreneur to work with The NoUsury Network's Excel Team and
thereby advance The NoUsury Revolution. I offer 13 eco$ to any client who transfers their
long distance service to Excel and 39 eco$ to any person who commits to working as an SDI
entrepreneur and building a part-time enterprise offering various quality
telecommunications services to clients anywhere in Canada, USA and/or Great Britain. The
main intent is to show gratitude and offer an exchange of energy - for that is the sole
purpose of money. Another intent is to open up the awareness of people to the potential of
bartering and trading - locally and globally - without using their (the "usury"
elite's) money.
A question to ponder: Why would the Ottawa LETS Council or any LETS Council anywhere assume that they have a mandate to police how we spend our "usury-free" community currency? Even the federal government does not police how we spend our "usury-bearing" cash. By the way, I learned about the proven principle of offering something of value to another person who is giving you something of value from another well-respected SDI entrepreneur, Michael Price, who has a company called Priceless Possibilities.
To suggest that the SDI industry is unworthy or immoral and that to earn a profit from a referral while offering that referral a recompense in appreciation for his/her business somehow devalues the "usury-free" community currency to an unequal exchange is evidence of the great need for "re-education" from those who have experience as SDI entrepreneurs rather than accepting heresay from those whose sole agenda may be to discredit decentralization and individualization as promoted by the honourable SDI ethos. I do accept that the unethical attitudes by charlatans in the SDI industry have manifested much damage and instilled negative impriniting on too many ordinary people who are influenced by the negative world that has been carefully crafted for our economic enslavement by the "usury" elite.
While pondering why people unfairly condemn
the SDI industry, Robert Sheaffer's 1988 book "Resentment Against Achievement"
comes to mind wherein on the dust jack it is written: "Throughout
recorded human history, the ebb and flow of the love of achievement and the resentment
against its successes have been major forces behind the rise and fall of civilizations and
empires." Could it be that anti-free enterprise ideology is what is really causing
the discrimination against the pro-free enterprise SDI industy within the Ottawa
LETSystem? I'm not sure since I do not know who complained to the Ottawa LETS Council
about my SDI activity?
In the book, Robert Sheaffer explains that when the morality of achievement predominates,
the cause-and-effect relationship between individual effort and success is understood and
respected. It follows that any civilization will grow and flourish when the individual is
permitted to work hard and enjoy the fruits of his/her labour. On the other hand, the
forward march of any civilization will slow down, stop and ultimately reverse when the
morality of resentment with its emphasis on envy, anger, and revenge gains the upper hand
and blames any lack of progress on everyone and everything except its own philosophy.
If the SDI critics displayed even some of the characterisitcs of the SDI achievers and invested less time in being negative and trying to get something for nothing, they might be amazed at how successful they could become. I make no apologies for SDI achievers, we earn our rewards by creativity and hard work and anyone is invited to take action and do the same. Let's promote consumer sovereignty as the ultimate the right of people to decide with whom they shall spend their dollars BUT let's also offer some "re-education" about the SDI industry and the various products and services offered by this industry. And let's include some "re-education" about "usury-free" economics and explain how the SDI industry naturally fosters bartering and trading with a portion of "usury-free" community currency and a portion of "usury-bearing" cash. Home-based SDI entrepreneurs will be most likely to accept and spend "usury-free" community currency since they can also spend it locally.
Readers are invited to examine a few quotations about the SDI industry as penned by Tommy-No: Usury on July 13th, 2001.
Likewise, readers are invited to build local and global community by following the directions as outlined in this article: "Let's Build Local and Global Community" This is a test site as explained at this URL: www.openmoney.org/go/cc.html so keep track of any trades with a pencil and paper. Richard Moore will release an revision of this software very soon and we can transfer any trades to the new website when it is fully functional.
Since the Ottawa LETSystem frowns upon fair and honest exchange of eco$ I
am now offering 1 ufoh (usury-free online hour) to those who transfer their long distance
service to Excel and 3 ufoh's to those who commit to becoming an SDI entrepreneur by
building a telecommunications enterprise and offering to your clients the services as
provided by Excel Communications (Canada) Inc.Those interested should list their
"offers" and "wants" at www.communityzero.com/nousury and
register at
http://cyberjournal.org/cybercredits
and then contact: tom@cyberclass.net so that I can gift you
accordingly.
I invite critics of the SDI industry to learn about the current social SDI etiquette and read What is Life About....
