Jonathan Kennedy, 22 has been attending Concordia University in Montreal
for two years and working at part-time labour jobs for $7.00 an hour. He has been able to
pay for most of his tuition, lodgings and food with his own efforts and a little financial
aid from both of his parents. Jonathan knows that his talents and time are worth more than
$7.00 an hour but that's all the employers can pay young employees like him because they
are playing in the orthodox game of "usury" finance which breeds scarcity and
lack.
In mid-March 2001, he meets a friend who worked with him at MacDonald's in 1999. His
friend invites him to attend an SDI opportunity presentation about Excel. He accepts. He
learns about an exciting SDI opportunity with Excel from some (Entrepreneurial)
E-Generation (18 to 30 years young) entrepreneurs who are earning significant SDI incomes
by operating their own independent SDI enterprise(s).
He telephones me in Ottawa to ask my opinion about the Excel SDI opportunity since he knows that I have been studying the SDI industry since I was first introduced to the Amway opportunity on March 29, 1979. He explains that these young SDI entrepreneurs and some more seasoned SDI entrepreneurs from Montreal are coming to Ottawa on March 29th, 2001 to make a presentation about the Excel SDI opportunity. Though I had already attended an Excel presentation at Ruby Foo's Restaurant on Decarie Blvd. in January of 1999 I agreed to attend the March 29th, 2001 presentation at Jonathan's request.
I was impressed with the enthusiasm and track record of the E-Generation such as Nathan Goldberg, 27 and Simon Aboud, 21. Sergio Papadopoulos, 30+, Vince Widger, 30+ and Frank Varon, 50+ were the more seasoned SDI entrepreneurs who added some wisdom and experience to the Excel SDI team. On that evening I made a decision to work the Excel SDI opportunity. I telephoned Jonathan and explained that I was honoured that he had asked me to evaluate the Excel SDI opportunity and I would likewise be honoured to be sponsored by him.
Michael Branchaud, 38 has been earning a monthly pay cheque barely sufficient to pay his monthly expenses which includes too much "illegal taxes" and "immoral usury." Michael has already had a number of jobs and he recently witnessed his fellow-employees receive their termination of contract slips from Ottawa's high tech industry. Michael knew that the timing was right to look for the optimal SDI opportunity. (Michael and Jonathan worked the Excel SDI opportunity for one year.)
In addition to the external motivation to seek other sources of income, Michael (as was Jonathan) was a member of the Ottawa LETSystem. Michael understood from trading experience that he could use his own "usury-free" community currency to exchange goods and/or services with other members of the Ottawa LETSystem. Michael knows that LETS empowers the common people and helps them to avoid government tyranny.
Michael knows that the short-term reality means there is a minimum amount of "usury-bearing" cash to invest and a maximum amount of time and personal energy to invest when one starts an SDI enterprise. The actual cost to begin the Excel business is $299. (Canadian Funds). But it is the long-term forecast that drives Michael the most, the fact that he can be earning incomes from multiple sources within the SDI industry within two to five years. In five years, he would still be a wage-slave while working for a corporation operating wholly within the confines and restrictions of "usury" and therefore more likely to favour profit motives of the shareholders.
Having made the decision to work with TUFN's (The UsuryFree Network's) Team Michael is already feeling empowered knowing that he is able to receive a monthly cheque with no income tax deducted at source. Like every other new SDI recruit he is already learning how to undercut all of the machinations of government by recording every expense so that he can maximize his deductions and qualify for a significant income tax refund when he files his income taxes for 2001. Michael says that in these trying economic times, there is only one choice - operate your own independent SDI enterprise(s).
Too many people put off launching their own independent SDI enterprises in order to raise a family, or retire, or whatever. Michael says he didn't realize the full consequences of solely relying on earning a wage to pay the "illegal taxes" and "immoral usury" until he learned that he could earn income(s) and pay NO taxes and NO usury. "I didn't think it would be so easy to earn SDI income(s) and legally shelter them from the ruthless greed of CCRA." Now Michael says: "What was I thinking? Why did I wait so long? Why was I so unaware?
Seasoned SDI leaders say there are many prospects (age range of 28 to 40) like Michael Branchaud who have neither a true picture of the SDI industry nor the orthodox "usury-bearing" money and banking system. Nor do most know that they can barter and trade their products and/or services using a "usury-free" community currency. By the time that most youth get settled into the system with a spouse and family they feel trapped. They often see themselves as too tired and exhausted with work and family commitments to pursue a part-time SDI opportunity. But once they realize that a great portion of their earnings is siphoned off as "illegal taxes" and paid as debt service otherwise known as "immoral usury" to the banking elite they take notice.
By retirement, some people are simply burned out and choose rest and relaxation while others are rejuvenated and welcome the opportunity to work within the SDI industry especially when they find out that The UsuryFree Network is doing it differently.
It does seem that a new trend is evolving early in the 21st Century. The
E-Generation is recognizing that they will not graduate and choose one career for a
lifetime like their parents' generation. They are already working two or more jobs for low
wages and realizing that their talents and skills can be much better applied by owning
their own SDI enterprise(s). Being more entrepreneurial, they advance in the SDI industry
with optimal success since they do not have to unlearn employee habits.
They are also noticing a decentralization process unfold before their eyes. Giant retail
stores which had one employer and hundreds of employees are on the decline. Franchises
which have one employer and but fewer employees than giant retail stores are expected to
lose popularity in the 21st Century as they have become expensive and the owner of the
franchise is often perceived as having bought himself/herself a job because the
corporation still dictates the rules. The SDI (Self Directed Income) industry is
flourishing because it offers every single participant to become an independent SDI
entrepreneur and thereby be the CEO of your own company.
The E-Generation are realizing that they are not seeking jobs. Rather they are seeking incomes and they are finding incomes within the SDI industry. The exciting reality is that the youth are taking action and we the elders can learn much from them. It is a door opener to permit me to teach the E-Generation the information that I have been researching for the past 24 years because I know that they never learned such information in their years of formal education. Neither are they entrenched into the system yet, therefore they are most likely to act on the new information as they learn it.
So why aren't more natural persons in their 30's and 40's aware of the
power and potential of the SDI industry? Some often let "ego" get in the way.
Others relate and retell bad network marketing experiences of family members, friends
and/or associates.
Too many people have negative but true stories to relate from former experiences with one
or more network marketing opportunities. This is exactly why The UsuryFree Network created
new language to describe this fascinating industry which we now refer to as the SDI (Self
Directed Income) industry. What you do NOT hear from the naysayers is success stories from
the doers.
Obviously it is not easy for the human being to switch their psychological
mindset from a wage-earner to an SDI entrepreneur.
It is high time that the generation in their 30's and 40's followed the entrepreneurial
spirit being so effectively modelled by the E-Generation who have become entrepreneurial
because they are not getting the jobs their educators and parents told them they would
after they have earned their university and college degrees.
There's also the impression that if you do something different than your career and/or different than your family might approve you might be chastised. It's time to move beyond our hassle free zones and do what it takes to move The UsuryFree Resolution into the alternative news first and then into the mainstream media.
