The NoUsury Network Lets is exploring the updated version of the usury-free banking software called LETSAssist created by Tony Harding of Australia. The LETSAsssist software is modelled after the popular world wide concept of LETS (Local Employment Trading System.) The NoUsury Network is also exploring other open source LETS software and the feasibility of launching internet trading as soon as possible complete with paper notes in denominations of 2 UFOH's (usury-free optional hours) - a $26 Canadian dollar vlaue, 1 UFOH (usury-free optional hour) - a $13 Canadian dollar value, 1/2 UFOH (usury-free optional hour) - a $6.50 Canadian dollar value and 1/4 UFOH (usury-free optional hour) - a $3.25 Canadian dollar value.

Traders from The NoUsury Network (nationally - anywhere in Canada) buy and/or sell to others on the NoUsury Network database using a complementary, usury-free currency called "Usury-Free Optional Hours" (UFOH’s) or a combination of "UFOH’s" and cash. The NoUsury Network Lets is a worthy economic alternative which builds local community and offers mutual benefits to all participating members. The NoUsury Network LETS has plans to expand globally.

The NoUsury Networks’ members are encouraged to trade as much as possible using the UFOH currency. As we build the initial database (during this pre-launch period) we can keep track of personal trades using a pencil and paper. Both parties who are negotiating any trade simply keep a record in a simple notebook. To ensure integrity, each trader must initial the other traders notebook at the time the trade is completed. When The NoUsury Network LETS project is fully launched it will be a simply matter to have all previous trades recorded.

The basic UFOH "Usury-Free Optional Hour" is valued at $13 (Canadian dollars - "usury-bearing" federal currency) for one hour of usual labour. If your talents, skills and/or services commands more than the basic $13 hourly value simply multiply by a factor of 13 to calculate the value fo your talents, skills and/or services for one hour.

Membership Fees: The NoUsury Network Lets is offering membership FREE for one year for the first 1300 members who join as traders. These first 1300 NoUsury Network Lets members will be offered the opportunity to request a line of credit for 46 UFOH’s which is valued at $598 (46 x 13) - Canadian dollars - "usury-bearing" federal currency. This offer is for the first 1300 members because The NoUsury Network knows that with a database of 1300 members we can engage in abundant trading. After the first 1300 members are registered there will be an annual fee assessed valued at $26 Canadian dollars for an individual and $52 for a business.

When the software is fully functioning and the paper currency is printed, each of the first 1300 members' accounts will simply be debited 46 UFOH’s and the member will be issued the 46 UFOH’s in paper currency. Each of these first 1300 members of The NoUsury Network LETS will have a record of all trades negotiated before they are issued their 46 UFOH's. Therefore, it will be easy adjust any negative of balance of any member to zero before before issuing the difference in paper currency

Having 46 UFOH’s in paper currency facilitates ease of trading with other members from The NoUsury Network LETS. The NoUsury Network Lets members are encouraged to trade, buy, sell and gift as much as possible using UFOH’s BUT to keep The NoUsury Network Lets in balance no individual members' negative balance (commitment) may exceed 46 UFOH"s (46 x 13) valued at $598 (Canadian dollars - "usury-beairng" federal currency.)

Any of the first 1300 members of The NoUsury Network LETS who are operating a legitimate business are invited to open two accounts, a personal account and a business account. Each business account may not exceed 92 UFOH's  (92 x 13) valued at $1196 (Canadian dollars - "usury-bearing" federal currency.) Business accounts are permitted a larger balance since any business is likely to have more products and/or services to offer than an individual.

Your statement, a newsletter and a directory of The NoUsury Network LETS members will be prepared and updated regularly. Choose your delivery option.

______  Emailed: No charge as you will receive text filed by email. If you can print copies for others you are invited to do so and establish a fee for this service payable in "UFOH’s"

______  Mailed: A cash donation (minimum $13.00 - Canadian dollars) to cover the mailing costs for one year.

______  Courriered: The Nousury Network Lets is seeking local members to courier or deliver documents. Again, there can be a fee established for this service payable in "UFOH’s"

FREE Notice Board Listings: Members are invited to indicate the likely ratio of cash/"UFOH’s", for example 70% cash, 30% "UFOH’s" - though some trades are expected to be completely negotiable in UFOH’s considering various factors.

All members are expected to be honourable and abide by The NoUsury Network LETSystem of trading. When you open your account with The NoUsury Network LETS your balance is zero. If and when you leave The NoUsury Network LETS you must leave a balance of zero. At any time The NoUsury Network LETS will accept "usury-bearing" Canadian dollars, Canadian Tire dollars and Pioneer Gas dollars as payment to reduce any negative balance of UFOH’s.

Understand that you may purchase additional advertising space for any services and/or products for a fee (payable in part cash and part "UFOH’s" You are encouraged to make a clean copy of this application for photocopying and make a copy of your completed application for your own records.
